Carbonara

A quick and easy one for the kids

This dish is not terribly exciting, but very reliable to satisfy my boys.

Ingredients

Ingredient Amt Prepped
Dry Pasta 500g
Onion 1 large Diced
Garden Peas 250g
Bacon 1 pack Diced
Eggs 4 large Scrambled
Sour Cream 1 small pot

Steps

  1. Put dry pasta on to boil
  2. In a second, with heat on medium high, pot put onions and bacon on to cook the bacon through.
  3. Add garden peas to the second pot and warm through.
  4. Once pasta is cooked through, strain and add to second pot.
  5. Add eggs to the second pot, turn heat down to low and stir through until eggs are cooked.
  6. Add sour cream to second post and stir through.
  7. Ready to serve
